Bariatric AdvantageMost WLS patients commonly use supplements from Bariatric Advantage during pre-op and throughout the first few years after surgery. The items I highly used in my first 3 years are the Multi-Vitamins, Calcium Chews, Chewable Iron, and B12. I am planning to restart BA and interested in trying the Chewable FloraVantage Probiotic and FloraVantage Control Probiotic.
All of the products posted are all items I purchased and use. I do NOT get paid for product mentions by the companies.

n the following years I plateaued. Then slowly pick up a few pounds. That lead me to do a podcast to help me reflect on my 1st year progress, hold myself accountable, and put me back on track while giving others a platform to share, support, and motivate each other. Our journey and experiences will inform those who are considering WLS too.

A few months back, I saw RXBar on Instagram a lot. I decided to try them out and now I am hooked. It has a chewy fruit texture to it, so be ready to have it stick to your teeth a bit, but 1 bar is quite filling for me. I love Blueberry, Mixed Berry, and Maple & Sea Salt. If you'd like to try them too, links are below the video. Let me know what you think of them.

I am NOT sponsored or have any paid affiliation with RXBAR.
My views and opinion about the product is strictly personal.

Upbringing is the backstory of my Bariatric Journey. Family life, childhood, and dealing with weight gain through the years from 7th grade through high school. Weight loss programs I joined. Years of my doctors trying to motivate me to get my weight under control to a point they would say "You are a good candidate for gastric bypass". Dealing with health issues like Ovarian Cyst and Cancer of the Uterus before the age of 21 was a lot to recover from along with having Sleep Apnea and Hypertension. A light turned on and decided research into what Bariatric surgery was all about.
This blog will be in parallel with the podcast of the same name. My name is Rinda and I will be sharing my experiences with weight loss surgery. Of course, it will not be entirely about me. I will have stories from others who would like to share their journey too. All experiences are not exactly the same and we are all from different upbringing, cultures, and lifestyles. Our stories will bring an incredible value to those who are thinking about weight loss surgery.
